I used to go there for a unique lunch and to buy bread and cream puffs. For lunch I often picked up a couple of peroshky (cabbage, meat, potato, or cheese) The cabbage was my favorite. That was some years back when I worked at American Film Institute, and there was always a long line. It was always clean, but busy and the other review is spot on. It's very reasonable. I often picked up dark bread and some other items to take home. The bread uses a heavier flour and I love it! When I went there, nobody spoke English, which is fine with me. It's authentic and a true ethnic experience. I live far away now, but should drive up there and pick up some bread & goodies just like old times. :)
