    Never, never, never bank with HSBC. I am only with them because I moved from Hong Kong and I'm in process of switching elsewhere. The staff are friendly but the system is archaic leading to way too much time spent on the phone dealing with them, sometimes for hours and for no resolution. Very frustrating experience.

    Completely horrible experience with this bank. They don't operate like Chase or BOA. I closed my account and then get an email that I have been charged a $25 fee for the account I closed because the personal banker did not check to see there was a penny in interest so the account was not zeroed out. Obviously they need to train their employees better.
