Continental Dry Cleaners at 6359 Woodman Avenue, Van Nuys, Los Angeles, California.

I have been to Continental Dry Cleaners twice and have been disappointed with each trip. the first time, I brought in a dress which had a minor water stain on the back. it did not come out and was not brought to my attention when i picked it up. i thought i would give the cleaners another chance because of the high reviews; however, i would sincerely regret it. i brought in a winter coat for cleaning and when i picked it up, nearly all the buttons were bleached from a dijon mustard yellow to an off-white with yellow patches. even worse, they had covered up only half of the buttons with foil in an effort to protect them, which only resulted in leaving an impression on the buttons' surfaces. when i brought this up with the owner, she blamed the discoloration and damage to the buttons as common wear and tear. when i showed her the difference between the buttons that were covered in foil and the ones that weren't she stated that "it happens". if you have a garment that you love and must dry clean DO NOT bring it here.
